I just recieved a call from this number, asking me a million questions and finally looking for my bank account details in order to switch me from being a prepaid customer to a 20euro a month direct debit customer for a free calls and texts to O2 and landlines. I didnt give them my bank account and they got pissed...

SCAM They left a voicemail saying something about me not being able to use my national insurance number anymore. The voicemail was a digital voice and the message was incomplete. Tried calling back as I always like to wind them up but they didn't answer. I've blocked their number and if it was genuine then I'm sure they'll find another way to communicate with me.

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different, which is a common thing - they use a range of similar numbers. They are reported with different scope, but mostly call centres work for multiple clients - O2, charities... A Man (after a pause) called on this number saying it was Amazon and that someone had ordered a smart phone on my account. I didn't give him chance to say what he wanted me to do about it - he was going to send an email. I put the phone down and checked with Amazon who confirmed no one had telephoned me from there.
