Rang at 6.30pm - I didn t recognise number so let ansafone take it - they didn t leave a message. I checked on this site to see who they were, so when the same number rang again at 7.20pm I answered (to wind them up!). A very polite sounding chap with an Indian (or similar) accent explained that he was carrying out a survey for ???????? I know many people who will no longer answer their landline unless they recognise the callers number. It is businesses like IJT, boiler-room scams and PPI Claim companies who have changed the telephone from a useful tool and friend into a nuisance ridden pain in the arse. Well done everyone!
