It’s a scam! Claiming to be HMRC. Avoid, just hang up.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Wanted me to give further info on my PPI claim!I had nevermade any claim from them, never even heard of them; &told her I would never use any company who cold called me as they were illegally calling in the 1st instance. To which she replied we always check to see if they has TPS which I have!Hmm if they are doing illegal things to me now why would I ever believe them. BAD MOVE!!!!!!!

These people handle "deceased accounts" on behalf of Eon in UK. (I suspect they buy the debt). They also seem very interested in probate matters - perhaps they gain extra business this way. However - was pleasant call (got my number from Eon - I am Mum s executor), and they were not chasing payment just establishing status.
