I was called from this number approx. 5,00pm this evening, and answered to a recorded female message advising me that my Amazon Prime account had expired, and that a charge of £95 would be made to automatically renew it. As I do not have a Prime account, I did not listen any further to the message, which I suspect was going to advise me to press a digit on my phone, to speak to an adviser, from where details of my Bank Account would be required!! I hung up halfway through the message.

Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. Fraud! Automated message claiming the legal proceeding has started "due to Tax Evasion" and an arrest warrant has been issued. This was so obviously fraud, that I laughed at it. However this could be extremely dangerous for, say, a beginner business owner or self-employed person who are not 100% confident that they had submitted all the right forms etc (without malicious intent).
