SCAM They called me claiming to be BT Open Reach phoning about issues with my router. They did not know anything about my router as they asked irrelevant questions which do not apply to my Virgin router. very suspicious. I hung up on them before it went too far.

Cold call. Hard to understand what was being said but claimed to be EE making some offer. To be fair, caller didn't persist.

Caller says he / she is from Amazon and would like to auto renew prime subscription. Then asks you to turn on your computer and to allow them to connect. I kept them going for a while, then asked their name and a contact number - they hung up. It was an indian accent.

Caller claimed to be from Serif UK, the software company. They wanted to do a survey, and when I told them I don t do surveys over the phone, nor do I confirm details someone claims to have about me, they slipped up and said they wanted to do a survey about my household finances, not the sort of thing Serif does. I regularly speak to Serif on other matters and never had this kind of conversation with them. I reckon they were out on a Phishing trip, but they didn t get even a nibble from me.

Fraud Was chatting with someone online who gave me this number. Claimed she was 20 years old. Then she sent a nude pic of herself, then told me she's 17, but 18 next month. So I called a halt and said sharing pics with anyone under 18 is illegal, let's leave it here. As everybody else said, an indian man called with lots of background noise claiming to be from Talktalk. He said there was a problem with the internet running slowly. Had I noticed this?
