I received a series of five unsolicited calls over a two month period. No conversation, just the sound of people talking (in English)in the background, then hung-up.
Womans voice saying that I should Press 1 to call my internet connection.

Caller told they are calling from eBay. Contacted eBay right away, they told to block that number.
Potential scam, American-sounding woman claimed to be from “something or other” from Amazon. I couldn’t make out what it was she said as the line kept crackling, sounded like Ice something but it didn’t make sense so I told her I’d never heard of it and ended the call.

It IS Sky and if you ask them they will openly state they got your number from a third party. IE, they bought it. Have you done a survey of ANY kind? If so that is how your number is passed to them. They will apologise and remove your number from their database if you request it.

Something called choosy rang me twice, waited until I picked it up then rang off both times, it is very annoying and probably a scam, block the number if you can

I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. When I receive the information, I will then check to see if the company that is sending
