I answered this all on my mobile and they hung up immediately so I rang from a land line and was told by an automatic message that I had won vouchers and/or and Ipad. I was to receive a call shortly to complete a short lifestyle survey at which point I put the phone down as we know what these surveys are like!!!!

SPAM call from someone claiming to be from car phone warehouse.
Had to urgently contact them regarding some fraudulent transactions on my account. The number is for the fraud team, and it's totally genuine.
Offering financial advice, swore when I asked about the Telephone Preference service
"You have won postcode lottery, you will get discount at supermarket, restaurants, flights" (Indian accent)
This number sent text saying Royal Mail parcel was waiting for redelivery and that there was £1.99 to pay. There was a link below. I believe this is a scam text trying to get money, we are not expecting a parcel and even if we were, where would they get a mobile number from for someone who hasn't given Royal Mail their number?
My phone rang 3 or 4 times within a few minutes at around 10.40PM BST this evening. All calls were from the above number. I picked up the receiver whilst the phone was ringing...

7 calls in one day 10:18 11:35 12:17 12:46 14:24 15:01 15:28 It is Adrian Flux, its from a call centre i rang back and destroyed the guy on the other end of the line. I have used them and always been happy but over 3 days ive had over 20 calls. would put me off ever using them again!! my insurance wasnt even up! I called this time a year ago inquiring for insurance for someone else in my family. after the first 3 calls today they would then only let it ring just under 2 rings!

Amazon scam from Asian call centre. Supposed fraudulent transaction on my Amazon account. Asked me to give six number code sent to me in SMS from Amazon - This was my two step verification code to change my password. All they need to get this sent to you is your Amazon account linked phone number. I did of course refuse.

Called and asked about a car accident I d supposedly had - as soon as I asked how they knew I was in an accident, they claimed my details were included on a National register of car accidents . I said this was simply not possible, and demanded to know where they had gotten my contact details from and they hung up immediately. Two weeks later, another call. Or maybe they just work in the UK? I too didn t get far in the conversation before this actually nice lady hung up. I was also just curious about how they got my number. Easy answer really but hanging up to me was a sign that perhaps they aren t so legitimate. Oh well.
