Scam National Insurance Scam saying NI number has been compromised. Automated message, no doubt wanting the victim of the call to press one to be connected to scammers. I put the phone down when I heard the message and cut off the call. Having seen resent warnings about this scam, I was already aware of it. Don't act on the call and hang up. However after he asked me to confirm security details, I told him no - and I will only discuss/deal with Paypal direct. He told me I d receive a letter and email from them, again I said unless it comes from Paypal - I ain t dealing with you. Caller hung up.

SCAM Caller stated they were from BT working on local Broadband speed as it had been slow and that it was being worked on to improve and apologise for any disruption we have had. They had also worked on a new "security patch" and asked me to download on one of my connected devices. On telling him I coulent do that he just cut me off. Very believable for an older person.
