Recorded message from the 'Bank Security centre' (apparently one bank security centre for all the banks....) reporting unusual card activity, £300 to Amazon & £1000 internationally, press 1 to cancel, 2 to speak to operative... Called me trying to sell PPI. Before I could finish my "No thanks..." sentence, they hung up on me.
Number 01782146044 called me and said they were from my bank but did not say which bank because they would not have know which banks I deal with. The recorded message said that money £600 was going to disappear from my account within 15 minutes. I hung up the phone and blocked the number as it was obviously a spam call. I have about 6 similar calls over the last month or so from different numbers each time and I have blocked them all. Thankfully no money disappeared unexpectably from any account.

I get calls from this number, when I asked where they got my number from was told the standard lie "opt-in data" or "they bought a list of numbers". These people are liars as they wanted to help me reclaim money IF i had taken out any credit - I have never taken out any credit so they are just trying their luck and calling anyone and harrassing them.
