Trying to sell ppi but wants an up front payment. Have been harassing me for weeks now I ve worked out how to block the number on my mobile hopefully it will stop!

Much like Georgina Howson, I also used Motoring.co.uk to check the value of a car I was considering. Just received a call from this number, I did not answer however.

This number is one of many that is used by Payday UK.

when I answer a call from this number, they automatically dial another number which I would no doubt have to pay for if I did not hang up immediately. I hope these kind of calls can be stopped. I have, in the past, been called by the same method and have been charged for a premium rate number.

Probably another scam caller claimed to be from Amazon advising that there was illegal activity on my account, which probably originated from Russia!!!!

Trying to sell me cover for my sky box, claimed to have knowledge of my existing cover and how often I have had a callout etc. Offering me a discunted rate on a service I did not have with them. None of which is true.

Answered this call and was met with a dialling tone ... Googling the number showed it to be linked to "Ambulance Chasers". They won t get a chance to call again as I ve blocked it on my iPhone. I have been inundated with calls in the last week from different numbers, but don t know why as I HAVEN T had an accident! Hopefully the law will be changed soon to bin these nuisance calls.
