I live in Florida, US. Have never before received a SPAM hang up call from England until now. Nevertheless, it was an automated call and I have no friends in, or traveling to the UK.

If they ring, put the phone down. Do not give them your bank account number. They are a waste management company, but they are very bad. They will make your life a misery. Rip off!
I received a recorded message telling me that an attempt had been made to use my credit card for the sum of £900 and that if it wasn’t me I was to press option 1 (there were no other options) when I called the number back I was told by recorded message that the phone was switched off.
Some idiot claiming to be from some investment firm in Canary Wharf. Claimed I'd spoken to a "colleague" and this was a follow-up call. Sounds like a boiler room.

A man called who said he was Vodafone and then EE and offered me an outrageous deal of essentially free minutes, free data and free texts for £6 per month. I checked the vodafone website and the closest deal was £33. I suspect that this is a scam and will report.

This number called me at 16h33 on Tuesday 11th April 2023. Man with heavy Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft. Said I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service so he shouldn't call me. Hung up, but he rang again and asked why I'd hung up. I said I'd already explained why, and hung up. He phoned a third time, and in a stroppy tone asked why I'd hung up. So I hung up AGAIN. For a fourth time, he phoned again. Didn't answer, and blocked his number. Obvious nuisance.
This is a Life Insurance cold call claiming to be reviewing your life insurance policy. My policy is not under review so I terminated the call.
What an insistence, it turns out to be boring.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. Did not recognise this number +44 330 001 3315 and did not leave a message hence did not answer info from another site Scheme or fraud to obtain personal information and trick people into making financial deposits. I received a call from +443300013315, a guy who identified himself as Alberto from the company ipgatetrade.pro/es and tried to argue with me under the false pretext of an application that I would have made.
