Called twice today, First call I cancelled. 2nd I answered said they were fron British Gas/Scottish Gas. When they asked which company I was with I asked why they needed that information they said they were doing research. I told them i gave no private or personal information to cold callers. Also told them cold calling was illegal and I would be reporting them. Hung up before they answered.
I was charged ?18 in June and a further ?30 in July for a series of texts (?6 per texts) on my mobile bill. EE, who is my mobile provider said they could not refund me the charges as they were from a 3rd party for services such as an entry in a prize draw, or a game download, which apparently I had requested, and as such they could not refund the charge. Have had a number of messages left by Dee, supposedly to do with HMRC. Returned call to see what it was about, the person i spoke to asked a lot of questions about HMRC and supplier debt, as well as our turnover. Obviously didn t give them any information! All sounded a bit suspicious!
