Today at 10.30 am I received a call from a man who with-held his number requesting to speak to me by name and I replied to him not known .He was very rude and did not introduce himself when I asked who is speaking. This person claimed to be my child who had smashed their phone and wanted me to WhatsApp this number, which I didn’t do. They said they had called from a friend’s phone 07599569709 which was about to die. This is terrible preying on parents. I don’t know what would have happened if I clicked on the number. I had a call this morning from 01628 349218 stating it was BT's technical dept and my internet will be terminated today. I hung up. Then I received a call from this number about 20 minutes later but there was silence. Hung up immediately. Others have reported this number also has a recorded message about BT's technical dept.
