Scammers saying they are HMRC and going to arrest you. They are not its a SCAM.
The call is not from Skegness. These calls mostly originate from outside the UK, using spoofed numbers.
An Asian voice male called regarding my washing machine , continued to try to sell one at cut price. I just said no .
Didn't answer, no message left so probably another scam number!

I got called by this number at 18:07. The line was silent and when I hung up it called again. A quick search suggested it was Barclays Bank. An odd time of day for a bank to call! I contacted Barclays via their app for a live text chat. The operator assured me it was a Barclays number and not a scam. This Asian lady was asking for my debit card details saying that the card was due to expire (she had my name and address) and she wanted to know the new expiry date. I have not had any dealings with the above company for many years so was very suspicious. I put the phone down on her.

Had a couple of missed calls from this number yesterday. Answered a call from them today. They asked for me by name and said they were called Motor Assist and calling about a car accident. I told them I hadn t been in one and that they d been given the wrong information. They hung up on me without even as much as a goodbye. Number blocked.
