Called them back loads of times this morning (using 141 prefix) to ask if they would like to make a PPI claim, buy double glazing, have their PC virus fixed.

Scam. I use to work for vodafone, and the first thing i asked after he started talking was " who is your line manager?" "And what system am i on". He freaked out and try come back but not a chance. As for the question providing you managers name should be a problem, unless you are a scammer and it takes you 5-6 seconds to invent a name, secondly vodafone has 2 systems that are being used in the company and it s a very simple to answer this question for a vodafone person. I recieved a call from a company introducing themselves as Energy Helpline and stated that they were looking to help me out on my Home Phone and Broadband bills. They convinced me to switch to another provider and that I had to pay an amount upfront for an activation fee? Is this normal? Then they stated they had a power cut as soon as I gave those details and they then had to ring me back? Sounds suspicious if you ask me, it has been an hour now. What is happening???

I answered, a man was on the other end, claimed to be a part of a pension plan scheme, I never paid to on, opted for one, nor did my previous employer contributed to one on my behalf, told the man this in answer to his questions, he thanked me for my time and said bye. That was it, but the fact it was unsolicited, made it seem like a scam.

I m also in Sweden, keep getting job offers over and over again. The person (a woman) is sounding ok but she doesnt seem to listen to my preferences and offer me the same kind of jobs.

This number rings me at least twice a day on my mobile. I have gotten to the stage now where I just answer and leave the line open, let them talk and pay for the call.

British Gas. calling me for months. First from Manchester. Got apology. then it starts again. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BRITISH GAS.
