Sales - a subsidiary of BT. Not nuisance, but I blocked them trying to call me all the time. Too many attempts by them to get through. Blocked!

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). SCAM called to discuss damp problems reported in my property, I don’t have damp issues and have never reported any problems. I own my own property so knew immediately that this was a scam, talked to them long enough to get the gist of what they were trying to do before hanging up.
