Bank Scammers. Telling me that £600 had been sent abroad from my Debit card. If I sent the money, press 2, if i Did not send the money, press 1. I put down the phone, went to my local bank and asked them to check. No money had been taken or removed or sent. Dangerous for someone who gets involved speaking to these scum.

There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.

Had a feeling this was ADT, haven t confirmed it but the comments seem to strongly indicate ADT. On top of the 0161 code. Just rang now at 3.19 in the morning, about five to six rings before I d even got to it, and then stopped. Automated voicemail message which rang twice and kept saying a US tax officer was investigating me and asked to call back - very clearly a fake call, and no one picked up on calling back to investigate them.
