Very aggressive attempt to interest me in IVA arrangements. They say they are calling everyone over 18. I said that must be about 40 million people, and how do they know I m over 18. Just received a fake call (pre-recoded) claiming to be from HMRC! Claiming my mum was "going to get sued" and told her to call back on the following number; 0203 ...

Keep ringing my number but refuse to leave a message on my answer machine. I class these calls as nuisance calls because they are unsolicited and they have no right to be ringing my private number which is exdirectory.

Called back and it an American automated voice mail came up . Your call is very important to us please hold for the next available operator .

Called me 1635 on 28/7/2017. Said they were sorry that I had had an accident. I replied. "You know that I haven t. You are just phishing." The caller began to argue with pre-rehearsed script. I hung up.

Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.
