Automated message telling me my national insurance number is being suspended because it has been linked to various illegal activity and I need to press 1 to speak to an officer if I want to avoid my property being seized and myself arrested. They must think I was born yesterday as I have no intention of pressing 1 where I suspect I would be asked for lots of personal information and a payment to clear a debt I don’t have. Scum of the Earth. Scam call claiming that your internet is being cut off and trying to get you to press 1 on keypad. I work for that internet provider and can GUARANTEE you this is not genuine. I hope these people are found and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
This number which is a Glasgow code, called and an indistinct, mumbled young female voice asked for me by name, said she was phoning from another mumbled company and had I had any accidents in my car in the last few years. I said no, and she said oh well then and hung up. Some kind of scam with bad line and mumbled names part of the act.
