Called claiming to be Curry’s Pc World acting on behalf of network providers giving customers better deals. Phoned Curry’s to check legitimacy and they informed me this is definitely a scam as they don’t even have an outbound sales call team anymore and don’t act under the Currys Pc World name anymore, just ‘Curry’s’.

Likely scam. They rang me. I picked up but didn't say anything into the phone. They didn't say anything either and then hung up. I always answer in this way when I receive an unexpected phone call from an unfamiliar number. Legitimate callers always say "hello" and try to get a response. Scammers hang up. It happens every time!

Automated call sounds real but they have left the exact same message word for word with the exact same voice inflection every day for a week.

Fraud received an automated call from Amazon Prime saying an amount of £79.99 was outstanding and to press 2 to talk to customer services. Pressed 2 and a foreign gentleman told me that I-needed to resolve this situation. I told him it was a scam, he refuted it, told him again it was a scam and he needed to get a better job, he lost it and called me a white honky dumb bitch and slammed the phone down on me. He then attempted to sell me his "automated systems to attract more counselling clients". I hate spammers who prey on therapists' good natures, and who disrespect our vacation boundaries.
