Very rude. Very bad. Wouldn’t tell me who was calling. Just wanted me to confirm my name with a yes or no. When I would not say yes or no and just kept asking who was calling, she said well you can piss off! and put the phone down on me. Don’t ever say yes or no on the phone - they record it and use it as approval for trying to get into accounts etc.
Complete scam - saying from virgin media re download speed of internet. They advise opening an ap to check speed then download another ap - DONT - could not confirm any virgin details like account number or services I receive only name and postcode. PLEASE DONT FALL FOR IT NEWCASTLE UPON TUNE

Received an abandoned call on 22/03/2023. I called back and they immediately knew my name as they could see my number (despite it being withheld). Scammer claiming to be from O2, offering to reduce my bill by 30%. Didn't confirm my name, if it matches the account holder name, or any account details besides the phone number (which they'd just called, so duh...). Just started asking for the verification code they send you by text when accessing your account. The one where the message specifically states not to give the code to anyone, even people claiming to be O2 staff... Probably not calling from Edinburgh either, probably a spoofed number.
