This Asian sounding guy called saying he was from a company called Today's Living, apparently a survey and marketing company he said. He called before 9am. He tried to be persistent and ask me questions but he ended the call when he knew he wasn't getting anywhere with me It is very annoying to be awoken by an unsolicited call in the morning.

SCAM I believe this is a scam, someone else had reported that they were told it was Kwikfit Insurance, I was told some kind of lottery
SCAM Automated call Banking AMAZON American female voice claiming that my Visa Mastercard (!) was being debited for large amounts of money - one going overseas, and the other to Amazon. "Click 1 if you've authorised these transactions, or 2 to speak to our fraud advisor", or similar message. I put the phone down.
Texted me a temporary password for an unknown website.

The number will ring you and cancel the call before you can pick up, if you call back it will fail, most likely using a number spoofer.

Received a call from this number.. recorded message of woman’s voice saying it was from Bank security.. That my bank had a request from Amazon for £200+ and bank transfer for £700+ and to cancel press a digit. This number came up as 2 sets of numbers, one was a long number, and another this one I am reporting below it(that is what alerted me) when ringing. Fraud - sms message claiing your EVRI delivery has had to be redifected to the local depot then gives a link with an address that is spelt wrongly - EVRII.com - so clearly a SCAM. AVOID.

I have been pestered recently by buy to rent mortgage type people although not from the area code (Torquay) and estate planning neither of which would be of any use to me. Would love to know where they got my number from.

did not recognise number. I answered but did not speak. there was a lot of background chatter, possibly a crowded office or call centre. caller just repeated "hello" without any introduction. they gave up after a few moments and just said "ok" and hung up.

Supposedly from a Medical Alert company saying I may be eligible for a medicalert bracelet. He claimed they were based in Dorset and supplied all over the UK. When asked who he wanted to speak to he wasn't very forthcoming. After me asked a second time who he wanted to speak to, he hung up.
Scam exceptionally aggressive Micheal Masterson (suspect not his real name) bitcoin salesman who said to a female, quote "I'm recording this and all your calls, you are not even a human to me, I'm going to report you to the financial industry standards, you dickhead, do you want me to report you for not answering my questions?" I'd told him that I was not interested in and that I had told the previous 43 callers the same! Does the phone blocking facility ever get full? Hope not.

This number claimed to be from BT. The person said I may have a technical error in my broadband router. I disputed it and I asked the person to give me their number so I could call them back. I was told I could Google it and when I said I was not going to Google it and I asked again for their number the line went dead.

Claimed to be from Virgin Media and wanted me to switch my laptop on and she would talk me through resetting my router. When I questioned her she dropped the call!
28 Nov. 2022 (17:33) a chap with Indian accent called me claiming to be from BT to say that my computer may have been compromised and that he could check that for me if I switched it on and he ran a quick check. Complete nonsense of course and an attempted scam. He said he was calling from London but the area code is Falkirk (Scotland).
