Claiming to help provide a service against nuisance and scam calls (the irony..) then proceeded to request my card details - beware a SCAM. 14th December 2021.
I am from the customer care team in emerging media. Best cold call ever. I answered, I was asked for by name and I asked who was calling. The fella said AMS Legal so I said I m not interested and put the phone down. They called back straight away and straight off the same person said what are you not insterested in? - I laughed and said are you for real to which he replied yes, very much and you ll never know about the opportunity that you ve just missed out on and hung up. CAlled on 001463718462 @10 .03 20th March . No-one spoke but background noise sounded like a call centre. Then a male voice uttered two words "fuck off". Without the double 00 this would be an Inverness number (where I live) with a single ZERO but the double 00 makes it probably from anywhere in the world, So I'lll call it dangerous but "nasty" might be a better description.

Scam text from HSBC saying someone had tried to set up a new payer on my account and to click on a link in the text to get it fixed. Checked in my actual bank account and this didn’t happen. Sent a text to the phone number (!) and THEY blocked me!

Apparently the TPS web server is down, so they had to contact me by phone and not email. This is the 2nd similar call today. My TPS registration will expire tomorrow. Do not believe them, as TPS *never* phone customers!!
