SCAM Fraud Call center Just called me claiming to be from Sky, wanting to speak to me about my Broadband. When I told them I know this is a Scam call, as I don't have Sky Broadband, they hung-up, so obviously a scammer. It was an Indian-sounding woman, from a call centre, so could well have been coming from India etc, with the number spoofed / redirected to blocks of UK numbers being resold to places like that.
This is not scam it is the contact number of the company, Exclusive Law.

The text message received from this number on 14/02/2024 at 12:13 simply read: "Got it (thumbs up emoji)" No other content and this number is not in my phone book nor was I expecting any messages like this from anyone. It feels like a text that is trying to elicit a response and leading to a scam/spam.

SCAM This is a scam call claiming to be from Microsoft and telling me that my computer is highly compromised and they need to secure it. Yet they called my nans old landline which I wanted to keep when they house was sold following my uncles death so I had it redirected to my phone. I know this is a scam as they used my uncles name and he had been dead since 2020 so there is no way his computer was sending them any reports

This number relates to an investment scam called GFA capital. They get you to deposit a small amount of money ($275) and they claim they invest it in crypto and produce huge results. In 5 days my $275 grew to $75000. WOW Then one of their senior investment managers calls you and shows you a bitcoin opportunity, invest $18000 and they will produce a $10000 return in 5 days. Such lazy scammers - they use the same numbers each time. Basically if you receive a call from a Bolton code eg 01204 and you don;t live in Bolton or know someone who lives in Bolton, just ignore and block. It will just be these lazy evil scammers. Sometimes they claim to be TalkTalk, another time they claim to be 'National Debt Resolution'. They are totally useless - they are even rude the moment you answer, and can't even manage to sound even briefly plausible or professional. Evil fools - the worst.
