Caller said she was from "Energy Advisors" and that they work alongside my enery supplier. I asked who was my enery supplier and she said "EDF". This was wrong. Asked why she was calling me she said she was acting on "a lead". I told her that this was completely untrue as she clearly didn't even know who was my energy supplier. Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck - similar numbers are reported with insurance marketing and financial services. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls - surveys, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8439939xxx range... People don't fall for it. Did someone answer any number of this range?
