Scam. Recording with female voice threatening jail for customs & tax avoidance. Follow up call from number with similar digit pattern (0766) an hour previously. Hung up & blocked.
No threat, n juat a heating/ ventilation company. Southampton area.
Called me today asked for me by name and said it was regarding my registration on the financial markets, told them to remove my number and not call again, I had to repeat myself several times before the caller hung up. AVOID!!!!

I've had 4 calls in the last 2 days, all numbers ending in 027. I answered today and all I could hear was someone talking in the background then they hung up
SCAM!!! She said she was calling on behalf of the Crime Prevention Squad. Wanted to do a house visit. I said no and they hung up. Do NOT say yes.

Silent call. Received a call from (07458 148209) on my mobile, although very few people know my mobile number. When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. Someone on another site like this reported the caller to be an annoying or aggressive salesman from "Go-Assist" - this makes sense as I'd contacted them online about repairing a household appliance, decided their prices were far too high and deleted all their emails. American sounding woman called me saying she was from Nationwide Trust Bureau. She said someone at this address had a car accident in the past 2 years. (I haven t.) So i asked her what address was that. She repeated her line, do i repeated mine. She hung up.

I wish they would leave a voicemail message when they ring. I just missed their call and as there was no message I assumed it was a scam call. we get a lot and would never ring the number back unless there was a message left saying who it was and why they were ringing. but I would ring 150 from the landline if I'd known it was virgin regarding my problem. only trouble is that you can be waiting for over an hour before you get an answer! not happy with virgin at all.
