I have no idea who called me. It rang once. I picked up the phone and the caller was gone. I do not know if this is nuisance call, scam or a mistake. My number and all other ones are recycled. It could be a mistake.
SCAM - call regarding investment opportunities I had signed up for via a website. Except I have never given out my mobile number as it is only used as a emergency number for my elderly parents ( who don’t have internet connection) requested that the number is removed from their system. Let’s wait and see

Automated CALL, says National insurance number to be SUSPENDED BY National Crime Agency, press one to speak to an officer. Don't press, I just let it run to waste their cash or not. BLOCKED!! Clearly not national crime agency!! contacting this way.
I have had so so many calls from this PPI company I have lost count. I have worked in call centres before and know that legally if someone asks to be removed from the list, then you must ensure their number is removed, and yet they don t seem to do this.

Indian sounding male with very broken English. After the fourth time of asking I finally managed to decipher that he said he was calling from BT Openreach. When I said 'OK I understand now' there was a long pause as if he didn't know what to say next. I could hear someone in the background also saying 'This is BT Openreach'. When I asked him what he was calling about he just kept repeating 'This is BT Openreach'. I asked him if he had lost his script......and he rang off.

Called from 01245 407320 Unsolicited call from these cowboys today ( 25 Oct 2014). Despite my number being on the TPS, they asked for me by name. This is a company called www.ppiclaimine.com. They have a freephone number 0800 0783542 which took me an age to track down. The person who has been harassing me for 2-years now is well spoken but with a potty mouth when challenged. Please keep on calling this number (it s free and you have nothing to lose). We need to fight back against these scammers.

Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.
