Automated call told me that there was an arrest warrant in my name and that I was being investigated for tax evasion. Told me to press 1.
I asked for my name to be removed from their database as I was unlisted and also on the telephone preference scheme (TPS)I was told that was irrelevant because they were acting on behalf of the Government. I insisted they stop calling me, he (Callum)laughed and said you can complain if you want and put the phone down on me.

A pestilent fake American accent telling me my Amazon Prime sub is to be renewed. I have no interest in Amazon Prime and find thius sort of intrusion completely unacceptable. Twice today so far. Scam or survey. The 'company' title 'Expert Savers is misleading to get personal information from you, including bank details if you let them supposedly sign you up to a magazine subscription, etc. This is another new number for these harassing pests who won't delete your details from their systems if you ask them to - I know because of having repeatedly (dozens, if not over a hundred times by now). This one is a Birmingham (UK) dialling code, but they use others too.
