A computerized voice telling me my 'BT internet has been compromised and I should press 1 or 2 for another provider'.
I am getting regular silent calls from this number even though I am registered with the TPS. I have now tracked them down and the number belongs to a supposedly reputable charity fundraising organisation. I say supposedly reputable since no genuinely reputable company would make such a nuisance of themselves, especially on TPS registered numbers. Annoying and now on my blocked no s list. Tell you what...I finally rang this number - it goes on automatic response BUT select option 2 to remove your number. It had better remove it otherwise I ll select option 1 next time to speak to a representative and give him/her a piece of my mind!
