Machine call. No message. 3/4 rings. Unsolicited cold call or scam.
I had a call from this number this morning at 10.49 (approx) and a recorded message came which told me that my Visa card had been used by someone for £900. I didn't bother to listen to the whole message as it was obvious to me that it was a scam. Interestingly I waited a few minutes and then called the number back (which I don't usually bother to do) and a very nice lady answered who said that she ran a clinic. It became obvious that she was genuine and that the scammers had used her number.

SCAM Very stern and meanacing sounding man who introduced himself as an 'officer' said my national insurance number (UK) had been suspended due to some repeat offences. He then invited me to speak to another 'officer' if I pressed '1'. I burst out laughing and ended the call. Remember no Government Department will call you in this way.

Fraud I believe this number is a fraudulent one posing as a courier firm. Sent in a text l have not opened it fully. I am not expecting any parcels xx
SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. I received a call from somebody claiming to be from SSE. He wanted to talk about a new contract. He didn’t specify whether it was gas or electricity. I asked him to send your new prices by email. He seemed upset by this very simple request stating that it was impossible. I told him to call back when he had sent the email. He rang from this number 2 days later and came out with the same nonsense. He said he was Roger. I hung up and complained to SSE.
Dangerous SCAM Automated call saying it was the Tax and Revenue and my National insurance number has been compromised. Threatened arrest for Tax fraud and legal action to be taken and warrant for arrest. Who are these people!!
