SCAM Caller said they were from Amazon and that I would have a high payment charged monthly (£79.99) unless cancelled and the caller was going to "help me" cancel my Amazon Prime subscription. Heavily accented voice claimed to be from nPower and told me that my contract was up for renewal next month. Total rubbish!
This is a scam number. Automated call received claiming to be from HMRC and regarding tax fraud. The automated call makes threat about arrest for not paying tax! Asks to press 1 to continue with the call. I am certain if you press 1 then you will be connected to a premium rate number and will be charged hundreds of pounds (may be even thousands).
