Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. Mum was suspicious, rang off, got the number by dialing 1471 then rang it back. Women who answered refused to give her name and said she hadn't called Mum and didn't work for a company.

SCAM. Call received at around 21:30 hours. Caller asked to speak with me by first name. I did not confirm whether I was the person required, but asked who was calling. She did not answer but repeated her question. When I asked again who was calling, the young sounding woman said 'I'm from Virgin.' I then asked what she wanted with the person for whom she had called and she hung up. A bit later I called the number back and the same woman answered with 'hello!' Definitely not from Virgin. I had been receiving from this "Choose Lifestyle" too for last few days. Then I contacted my mobile provider. They suggested to call TPS: 0845 0700 707 or go to their website on tpsonline.org.uk and register to block any call-calls. I hope that will be helpful.

Do NOT under any circumstances send them a “deposit” or holding fee, or any sort of money up front. You will never see your item, and they are not from the town or city they claim to be but are in fact hundreds of miles away.
