Called 3 times this morning and when I picked up it hangs up. Gives me a weird feeling about what is behind this practice. Are they checking for live phone numbers for other call centres?

Been called a couple of times from this number claiming I have money owed to me from a third party in my last crash. There was no third party involved, only myself, yet they keep on ringing and telling me this (presumably they want my bank details). When I explain that they are totally in the wrong and there is no money owed to me they have become VERY RUDE. I ve been getting these car accident calls for about 10months, it s the same female voice each time. I ve previously tried reporting them to the TPS. Get them once-twice a week or every 1-2 months. Swearing at them seems to delay the next call.
