This American male calls night after night to a business number and asks for a service that they offer, but then states that their situation is so top secret that they can't share what it is that they want. They then say suddenly that they have to go and they put the phone down. Initially withheld their number. Very odd behaviour and comes across as rather off balance. This is probably stalking/harassment, but it's to an unknown business.
Thanks for making me aware of whats happening re above number. Its lovely just to leave them talking to themselves and paying for the call. Doesn t cause me any problems at all, no stress, problem is all theirs as is the cost!
Just had this number call - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. My advice, which works a treat: tell all your real contacts to call you for the first 4 or 5 beeps, then to put the phone down. Silent call: Called at 14.12, only 14 minutes after the 3rd scam call I have received today, so I'm presuming this is also a scammer , trying to waste my time as I won’t speak to them! (Last 3 scam calls have claimed that I have ordered an iPhone 7)

Paypal scam - posing as a Gumtree buyer . He/she will reply to anything you have for sale on gumtree. They send you a text but then ask you to reply to a moody email address. The one they gave me was [email?protected] and the number they used was +44 141 280 7229. Clearly foreign (poor use of English) and also clearly retarded - lack of understanding of gramma and spelling. Stay well away.

Called me and said I had unpaid debt due to credit cards. I have never had a credit card. They put the phone down when I asked where they got my information from. I attempted to call back but there was just an engaged sound.

17 Feb 2021 - I have recieved a call from this number today, a couple of weeks ago i had a conversation with someone who wanted access to my property to change the meter. I contacted EON and they confirmed that was not anything wrong with the meter and they did not know why I had had that call. Reply
