Called me up and did not know my name, made several attempts - when asked why he did not know who the name of the person he was calling and asked what he was calling for he hung up. Is this number used by a foreign based nuisance call unit? How did they get my number as I have signed any internet (including local authority) site as not wishing my details to be passed on. I was called on 14th May 2018 at 1307. The caller told me that he worked for Telephone preference management and that they would stop all nuisance calls. I told him that I was registered with TPS and he said they worked with them. I asked if this would cost any money and was told no. He then asked for my Visa card details. When I refused he said enjoy your nuisance calls and hung up. It is obviously a scam.
