This seems to be a fake GovUk tax office number.
Unsolicited call. Horrible way to earn a living.
Insulation I answered the call on third time of receiving a call on this number. Asian guy asking for my details to determine if I qualify for a grant for lift insulation. As this was a completely cold call I told him to remove my details from his list of contacts and to not call me again (yeah, right, like that’s going to happen!). I then hung up.

Has phoned me 3 times in last week. Asian male asks for me by name then when asked who they are and what do they want they hang up. This number called my 93-year old mother-in-law at about 07:45 hrs. She told them that she couldn’t hear them. They called her back a couple of times, and tried to get her to do something on her iPad. She said she’d have to get her son-in-law to call them as she didn’t understand them. They haven’t called again since. Incident reported to local police as a vulnerable person is being targeted. This number has now been reported to BT security who have blocked it nationwide.
