Who is this calling my mobile. Is this a company or a private number?????

I have just had a call from this number - a man with an Asian accent (possible Indian) asking me about my computer,. saying there was something wrong with it, and he wanted to sort it out for me. I put the phone down, but he tried ringing back twice more.

Sporadic calls, only rings for about 2 seconds. No idea why or who. Has called about 5 times in last 2 months.

very abusive when I challenged the caller! Very rude.

rings me at least 3 times a day. never leaves a message. Won t give up. I never answer a number I don t know.

said they were a claims company about that accident i had??? very abusive so reported to the police.

In the middle of eating dinner when the phone rang. I answered and no one responded. After a time the line went dead.

nI don t have a prime account.

Was sure that it was a Canadian cousin then accepted it wasnt. Asked for £9.00 odd etc etc due to bill , didnt make any sense. I persisted with the likeness (exact) of the females voice and its origins, was told India LOL I know a Canadian accent, I told the thick cow did she think I was thick? and to go and find someone else-I really wanted to use the f word but in case i got it wrong and upset some Indi/adian for nothing (and possibility of getting new phone line cut-off. 99 per cent scam , I think? - Oh

Recorded call about my non existent Amazon account. It follows a similar call from the same area, 30 minutes earlier. Blocked both numbers

They ring up every week asking if you?ve updated your gas and electric meters to smart meters. I have with another company but if I say that they go on to ask about who it?s with etc. Don?t know about trustworthiness or not because I?ve never heard of their company other than them calling me. I tell them I?m not interested and they still call. Now I just hang up. Ambulance chasers claiming my partner had an accident in January.

I Received a call from this number twice today and when i was able to answer they introduced themselves as Consumer helpline, the lady on the call advised that i had overpaid for finance in 2011 and she wished to help me get this refunded however i have never taken anything out on finance. I asked to submit a subject access request under the Data Protection Act where she then passed me to her manager. Con artists! I am signed up to TIPS and if this was a legitimate company they would be following the code of practice set up. They do not follow the law. they use a recorded voice, therefore they are criminals. Another number for the call blocker.

This is my area code but the second half of the number is wrong as they all start with 4 around here not 6. So it has to be dodgy.
