The guy said he was from Ecosave Power, which, having read the above, was true. However, he then asked if I had received my renewal paperwork, so I asked if he could tell me who my energy supplier was (I have recently changed suppliers, so would not be expecting any renewal paperwork yet). He said he would call me back - I said no, I can hold on, so he hung up. If that s not suspicious, what is?!

The line goes dead when I answer but from a bank of numbers beginning 0203 986 that are HMRC, Insurance, Share scams. Blocked.

NB: There is no tracking attached & to my knowledge Hermes do not deliver on a Sunday, even when something has actually been ordered. I was clearly home all day - so no chance that a delivery was "missed". This is a fraudulent / Scam. Report / Delete /
this was a robotic voice, claiming they are from the HMRC and i had to call them back or legal proceedings will start and i will be called to Manchester Crown Court.
