A so called broker trying to sell electricity. I told them that we have solar panels and don t buy electricity, we sell it so would they like to buy some. They repeat call so obviously don t get the message.

Suspect a company called EMS asking if I've had an accident. Dial the number back you hear a call centre in the background.

Received several calls from this number over the last week, including two within ten minutes of each other. This is harrassment. They think that if they bother you for long enough you will give up and answer their calls. I NEVER answer calls from numbers that I don t recognise.

RAC called to check if I m aware my breakdown cover will lapse today. Even after advising that I was happy letting it lapse there was no hard sell, no pressure.

As everybody else said, an indian man called with lots of background noise claiming to be from Talktalk. He said there was a problem with the internet running slowly. Had I noticed this? I realised it was a scam and thought I d play along for a little. He asked if I had a PC or laptop so I lied and told him that I only had a tablet. Answered call. Nobody responding on the other end with strange ringing noise in background. Has all the hallmarks of a scam or worse (e.g. phone hack). Avoid in all circumstances would be my considered advice.

This person rung and claimed to be from TalkTalk and tried to get me to do something to my computer when I said he was a bogus caller he started making loads of insulting and threatening remarks towards me and my family. Barred number now.

This is a SCAM number: Female voice says HMRC are launching a lawsuit against you and to press one to talk to a case officer. HMRC do not use recorded calls from mobile numbers: they write. These scammers try to get you to pay them. Block it!
