I received the call from this Vietnam number at 8am on a Sunday. By the time I got to my phone they had rung off without leaving a message. I had requested a cash offer for my house from Go Move and wondered if it was them. I checked with Who Called Me and discovered that it was a Vietnamese number which has over 1000 checks and one7/10 review saying it was a government message thanking them for their coronaviru efforts. My phone rang again from the same 0845 602 11111 number and I got an SMS from Go Move

An Asian voice, poor English spoken, said they were from Open Reach, and needed to check my modem. They made a give-away mistake as they got my internet provider wrong. This is the third call over the last 10 days, saying the same thing. But I didn't make a note of the number until the third time they called, which was today at 4.30 pm.

Probable Fraud/Scam - Heavily Indian accented female called Rachel called me purporting to be working for Microsoft at the Reading Campus. Claimed there was a problem with my computer and "bad people were using it for bad things on the internet". Told me she would deactivate my computer if I didn't do what she said. SCAM - Missed the call and dialled back. Automated message confirms company name as Equifirst. Further investigation seems to suggest it is a scam online investment racket. There is a legitimate company with the same name selling horse feed, but they are not located in the UK nor have an 020 number. Avoid!
