I didn't recognise the number so let it go to answer machine. they didn't leave a message, so I called them back and the number was answered and was silent? I presume it was a machine/automated call but not sure.

Answered the phone to someone saying they were from HMRC and I owed money and if I didn't press 1 to talk someone would be around to arrest me. I'm still waiting....................
Apparently calls from this number hang up before you can even answer the phone. No voice message left. Those who ring back that number to see who it was will find they are ringing a number charging very high rates and is nothing but a scam.

Claiming to be from National Insurance and asking me to press 1 to speak to an investigator before action is taken against my national insurance number. They claimed some fraudulent activity on the North Wales border. I didn’t press 1 and ended the call as I’m sure that’s a scam.
Must be Scam Call - Number not recognised message when called. Map seems to indicate call came from the Tower of London HaHa!

This is a scam number, and probably all numbers 023821464**. Asian sounding voice said he was from "Amazon Fraud Department" and that my account had been compromised (I don't have an Amazon account). I got a call from this number. They told me that I was invlolved in some accident 2.5 years ago, but I was never involved in any accident as I don't have even a bicycle.
This is another PPI claim company that want to send out refund paperwork which you are entitled to....
