Rang twice and hung up. I saw it was a premium number so did not answer. The best way to notice a scam call is when the caller asks for you by surname (which they cannot pronounce) probably because the forename is not mentioned in the records as they see them. Then scammers ALWAYS ask how you are, which is often when they try pulling up more details from the records.

SCAM Fortunately, I have TruCaller home phone so pushed it straight to the "waiting" queue and as they didn't leave a message or say who was calling did not route through to the actaual phone ring. I already had this number blocked on my Mobile and in Malwarebytes as it claimed to be from BT saying there was a problem with my broadband... when I mentioned that I worked for BT as a fault engineer they immediately hung up :)

I phoned their number while withholding my own number and they have their number set up not to accept withheld numbers. This number is an accident claim company touting for business. They phoned and there was noone there, so returned their call and spoke to a guy in a call centre. He asked about a collision we d had in our vehicle, however we haven t had a collision in our vehicle. He said they get the numbers from insurance quote websites when someone has ticked that they have had an accident in the last 3 years.
