Scam call claiming to be British Gas regarding our electricity renewal - caller didn't sound professional, was in an overseas call centre by the sounds of it, didn't know the account holders name and said he couldn't give me a contact number to call them back on, he has to call me directly apparently.... took me about 10 seconds to find the renewal department contact number online so I'm confused why he said he couldn't give me one.
Hung up immediately after I answered. If it was a wrong number, then you should have had the courtesy to apologize.
