01162 129945 This phone number is saying it’s from Virgin media aboutslow internet reported by my router. The voice sounds as if it comes from abroad, not Leicester, the caller sounds foreign. Maybe Asian call centre? The number was found by dialling 1471 and the call time and date were accurate Nov.30 @ 11:13a.m..

We had quite a few calls from this number a few months ago. It was some telemarketer, but I don t remember which company it (allegedly was). Either way, I m 100% it had nothing to do with insurance, but that s what they called about yesterday. Same number. We had written it down in case they call again, so we d block the number. SCAM Fortunately, I have TruCaller home phone so pushed it straight to the "waiting" queue and as they didn't leave a message or say who was calling did not route through to the actaual phone ring. I already had this number blocked on my Mobile and in Malwarebytes as it claimed to be from BT saying there was a problem with my broadband... when I mentioned that I worked for BT as a fault engineer they immediately hung up :)

Your site says this call came from Russia - it said I had been charged £79.99 for something and to press 1 to speak to a supervisor, which I did not do.
This is a call centre calling you to confirm who you are, they then hang up & you can't call them back, at a guess some kind of scam.

If the number is exposed, they just generate a new number and continue scamming people in the US. the actual number is mirrored to a us number to hide it's origin.
Received call from 02082312509 from a man with a foreign accent asking to discuss your car accident - needless to say, I haven t had one (and I am TPS registered). Put the phone down before he could get much further. Steer clear.

Same officious voice that has called from different no.s beginning 777191 re Inland Revenue etc, threatening court etc. I hung up after the first few words which I think were fraud squad, got an order bla bla. I block these numbers but they keep changing the calling number.
