Called me trying to sell something or other - looked on the net and they seem to be cold calling people at random - we are TPS registered - also seen a lot of suspected false positive comments around the net about this company saying how helpful they are - probably written by friends or employees - I didnt apreciate a cold call when I am TPS registered.

This is a PPI scam. Best to listen politely and show interest before requesting that they ring you back on another number. Then give them the number of another known scammer and they should keep one another amused for a while. Suggested numbers of known scammers:- 01935 350190 and 01379 844163. Both these numbers have repeatedly rung me recently.

Automated voice trying to sound real. Said I d been in a car crash. Hung up at that point. Don t be fooled!

Cold called asking for my boss by name and if we had ISO 9001. Wanted to know if we would consider paying them good money for a willy-waving number to be put on our letterhead.

Listened for a few seconds then they replaced the receiver. Didn't phone back and will not phone them back.

called on me on mobile asking my name and address and saying that I had been in an accident over the last year (I haven t) I laughed at the caller, told her I don t drive (which I don t)and don t have a car (which I don t). I get these phone calls 2/3 times every day. Welsh guy everytime. I asked for his and his manager s name, he then hung up - absolute cowboy!
