Call claiming from BT Open Reach & will have internet disconnected. Clearly a scam.
Just rang and by the time I reached for the phone (not long at all) it cut off. I am not going to redial it.
Answered call. Nobody responding on the other end with strange ringing noise in background. Has all the hallmarks of a scam or worse (e.g. phone hack). Avoid in all circumstances would be my considered advice.
Constantly being called by this number, and as soon as I answer they hang up.
Pester call claiming I have had accident and several thousand pounds is waiting to be deposited in my bank.
SCAM Said they were Sky with a better contract offer. When I refused bank details and accused her of scamming, she hung up.

try to scam for some second hand parts for sale that I had never sold
Recorded message saying BT & that internet would be disconnected within 24hrs unless press 1 to speak to someone. Luckily my elderly mother who they called is pretty cautious about scams and checked with me. I got her to do 1471 & googled the number finding various reports of similar on BT forum.
Called 4 times yesterday and so far 3 times today. Really annoying me now!! They say they can get you ?3000 in compensation for PPI misspelling. They want to know every personal detail about you. I ve told them not to call again, but that was ignored!
