Was called by this number which was automated. Informing me that my Amazon Prime was being renewed and that money would be taken from my bank account and to press 1 to speak to the Service Manger. Assess this as a Scam as I do not have Amazon prime.

claimed to be from BT and wanted to reduce my telephone bills by 30 per cent as a reward for long standing custom. I then ended the call.. Caller had strong Indian accent.
They are scammers pretending to be Virgin media. They claim that your internet box has been compromised because of suspect malware and then pretend that they want to compensate you by putting money into your bank account, but really they try and take money out of your account. They are Asians and the number emanates from Orpington Kent.

I answered, and right away, a robot with female voice started to say something about HMRC, penalty, and I remembered that I saw some reviews from another phone numbers saying about this kind of calls, pretended to be from HMRC. Called by these people offering a free loft roof space check, assured no money involved but if anything detected we would have two years to decide. Loft space checked and said to be in poor state for mould and decay of boards, told it would cost £8k to fix but if we went onto the express service it would be £6,400 but we had to book in right away. We asked for time to think about it and he then appeared to call a colleague who agreed to lower price to £6k but we must firm immediately. We declined.

Silent call Calls me international (USA) at about 7AM or 8AM and hangs up if I get to it in time or just calls off and does not leave any message.
Missed call. No message left. However noticed lot of searches of numbers with this code 01327 so am assuming it is a nuisance call.
Pushy Indian woman claiming to be from 3 mobile trying to sell me a contract with an iPhone or a galaxy s22. Lost count of the times I told her I'm not interested in any contract as I already have a contract and a galaxy s23, she hung up at this point before I had the chance to tell her to do one.
I received a call that sounded like an automated recording claiming that I had had unusual activity on my visa card. I believed it to be a scam call so I just hung up.

Randomly called said she was from sky and said our internet is slow. Tried to get us to download and app called quick support. This app allows people to remotely access your phone. 0207 9245544 - this number is a scam!!! Called me twice, I didn't answer as didn't recognize the number. I then googled the number and it's some motability Volkswagen thing in London. I called them four times trying to find out why they called me - they are rude and refuse to tell me why they called me!!! Instead, they demanded my name and then started the sales pitch! I never contacted them and I'm not in London so have nothing to do with them! This is clearly a scam!!!

They tried to get £940 off me!! This has been reported to What’s App.
