My elderly mother had a call from this number today, lucky I was there and answered. They claimed to be from BT saying that as she has been a long term customer they were going to give her a reduced line rental for three months and free internet access, when I asked how do I know that it is BT, they hung up, called 1471 to get the number but when you phone the number a voice tell you the number is not used

But i don t do nline surveys cos i end up getting calls like this one. but you may have clicked on something.. told them to call me back as i was at work. number blocked now - do they think i m stupid?

This person identifies himself as Thomas from Adobe and has called us over and over to the point of harassment. He has been told that we wont put his call through to the person he wants to speak to as they don’t want his call. He tries to intimidate his way through, then sits mimicking me down the phone line and finally he leaves the line connected so nobody else can call us. The number even though a local number (0203 655 7035) has connections to India and the guy speaking has an Indian accent.

A guy with an Indian accent and poot English spoke but I simply hung up as I have never, ever had any dealings with the RBOS in my entire life so there is no reason for them to call. SCAM Call started with a oversees transaction of 600 pound has been attempted was this you giving you the option of saying yes or no. I stated no and was placed to a oversees call centre claiming to be from the Halifax. I stopped the call and told him I will call Halifax direct. He started to say no I am with the Halifax and I ended the call. After contacting Halifax I was told to block the number as it is indeed a scam call. Good luck out there all.
