I received a call from somebody claiming to be from SSE. He wanted to talk about a new contract. He didn’t specify whether it was gas or electricity. I asked him to send your new prices by email. He seemed upset by this very simple request stating that it was impossible. I told him to call back when he had sent the email. He rang from this number 2 days later and came out with the same nonsense. He said he was Roger. I hung up and complained to SSE.

SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. We're now completely skint and can't afford to pay the wages. Been doing some investigating and his name is Tyrell, apparently. Fuck you Tyrel

Ian from some unsolicited energy company telesales asking wanting to speak to the bill payer for the electricity supply. When told we were on the TPS register he kept himself on hold for a minute and said he had reported it to his manager. Well if they were a decent company they should be using the latest TPS register but obviously they are another scamming company flouting ALL the rules. I keep receiving calls from this number despite blocking it - they sometimes phone up to five times a day! They always ask for Andrew, the idiot who must have mistyped his mobile number when downloading a report or who knows what from this "financial" crowd. I ve asked them politely to remove my number from their database ... to no avail. I ve said I m going to report them to the police if they keep calling me, which usually makes them put down the phone if I don t beat them to it!
