SCAM this is a scam, it texts people asking them to log in on a fake Sky site.
rang and ask is that mr so and so in a deep asian voice, and then have the nerve to ask if my postcode was correct and when challenged, he replied by saying i m trying to sell you anything. with that i just put the phone down and blocked the number

Again Jennifer Coleman from HMRC. They would write to named person, cause of action letter, would never leave message as don t know who would pick up. Could scare people into ringing them back. Lots of background noise then somebody eventually said Hello then hung up. Did a search on the number and it has been reported on several sites for pretending to be various energy companies.
SCAM Phone rang but did not answer as we did not recognise the number.
Extremely DANGEROUS automated message that said it was: Tax Revenue, that I Owed money to Tax Revenue, to press button 1 on handset, otherwise a warrant for my arrest would be issued shortly, and police would arrive to arrest me!
I got a message from this number saying HMRC owed me £300. I assume this is a scam as HMRC does not work this way. Have reported it to Action Fraud.

SCAM - Unsolicited scam call, upon answering hangs up, do not answer and block!
Scam National Insurance Scam saying NI number has been compromised. Automated message, no doubt wanting the victim of the call to press one to be connected to scammers. I put the phone down when I heard the message and cut off the call. Having seen resent warnings about this scam, I was already aware of it. Don't act on the call and hang up. Government bodies don't call people in this way. BEWARE. DANGEROUS.

Telemarketing Possibly telemarketing, possibly a scam/fraudulent. A woman called (I'd missed a call yesterday) and told me she was from a company whose name I didn't catch - she wouldn't repeat it. After I made it clear she hadn't got my number from 'a page' I signed up to, and asked for a call from, she berated me for wasting HER time 'because I'm working'.... Refused to say where she got my number from, carried on getting pissy and eventually hung up. After wasting a lot of MY time: she cold-called me!

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Also, my advice is not to take up credit or accept a credit cards from Vanquis Bank as they are extremely aggressive in their debt collection. Do the research and see how unhappy peo
